Stuart’s coaching has grown out of his creative practice and activism.

He brings to the process compassion borne out of his compelling professional and personal experiences.

As a fearless dance-maker for over 20 years, his critically-acclaimed autobiographical work has drawn on his experience as a neurodivergent, queer man living with mental health access needs.

Now this informs and shapes what he brings to coaching.

Through his engaging and thoughtful approach, he gives you a confidential space in which to gain fresh insights into your work and personal development.

Stuart’s approach is calm, creative and compassionately challenging.

His coaching draws from a range of coaching methodologies, excercises and tools so clients can tangibly see, feel and articulate their thinking, feelings and behaviours.

His offer includes coaching specifically for cultural leaders, artists and creatives.

Working with Stuart

The Chemistry Call

This is offered free as part of “getting to know you” – and opens up the conversation around the best way to work together and any particular needs or goals.

It is a chance to discuss where you are, where the coaching can take you and how you can most effectively work with Stuart.

Useful to know

You may find this useful to know when working with Stuart:

  • Stuart’s pronouns are he/him/his.
  • If you are neurodivergent and require specific support, please discuss it with him on the Chemistry Call.
  • Because of his practice around disability and inclusivity, Stuart actively welcomes clients with blindness, sight loss or deafness.

What people say about working with Stuart

The coaching allowed me to appreciate my own amazing skills and abilities that I’d not seen in myself but others already had. It increased my confidence and self-belief.

Senior Manager NHS England

I was struggling to clarify my goals for the future… I was overwhelmed by how quickly Stuart was able to take the process much deeper… to the underlying fears and insecurities that were causing this block.

Tara Lopez, Director of Participation, Nottingham Playhouse

Stuart created a safe and friendly space where I could dig much deeper than I would without his sensitive facilitation and coaching skills. A very positive experience, highly recommended.
